The very highly anticipated Reconstruction of S. Race St. from Enon Avenue to Everman Pkwy/Shelby Rd. will begin on Monday, July 1st. All underground infrastructure work has now been completed and crews are advancing to the street portion of this project. During construction, traffic will be limited solely to local traffic only. Meaning that if you reside within the construction zone, you will be granted access. All other traffic must follow appropriate detour routes.
